Right now our family is loving life. Enjoying the time we have together. Finding fun through the little things.Whether it's going to Mcdonald's to let the boys play with other kids in the playland, flying a kite at the park, eating pizza on a blanket on the floor while watching a movie as a family, playing the Wii together, reading library books, celebrating every time Tiberias sleeps the whole night through and more.

Sterling bought two big kites; a rocket and a dragon. It is windy here most of the time. We get some pretty strong wind too! There are not very many parks around Rapid City. Most families have playgrounds in their backyards because of this. We do have the school in our neighborhood and when school is not in session we are allowed to play there.

We love our little Athena who is very good at smiling now. She likes sitting up while held and practicing holding her head up. Of course most of my pictures lately are of her...

My new calling is Head of Enrichment Committee. Our first event was the biggest of the year; the Relief Society Birthday dinner. We did a "These Are A Few of My Favorite Things" theme. Using blue satin sashes, cream colored ponies and brown paper packages tied up with strings for our colors.  We served chicken salad croissant sandwiches, vegetables, pasta salad and orange juice 7up drink.
I made a banner that says Relief Society that we can reuse at future events.:
Origami flowers, tissue paper pom poms and paper fans...it was a lot of work. I made a cake to go along with the theme. It was a fun and successful event. And decorating did not take as long as I had expected....because Sterling came and did a lot of the work. He set up the tables, put out the chairs and put most of the wall decorations up by himself. I love my husband! On the platter (in the pic below) are extra cream colored ponies...white chocolate.
Athena playing with daddy in church.  She enjoys sticking out her tongue and going cross-eyed...but not at the same time (that would be talent).

Unfortunately she was not in much of a smiling mood that day. Sterling and I both tried!

The boys hopped in for a quick pic with their sister...cute!
