Back to School

Lachoneus on his first day of school 2014! 1st grade! He is ready and his teacher is so nice and fun. It should be an awesome school year.

Tiberias Birthday

With Summer Birthday we usually get to have a party on their actual birthday. This year Tiberias'  birthday is on a Tuesday. He turns the big number 4 tonight!

This morning we had friends over for a Superheroes party. I made some personal invitations.

Each guest picked their own homemade cape and mask to keep as a party favor. There were tons of balloons! Each had a face of either an innocent or a villain. 

The first party game was to save the innocent people and animals and beat up the villains.

 The kids ate finger foods for lunch.

 Tiberias wanted Spiderman and Iron Man. I didn't want to do it on the cake so I attempted it on cake pops. Cake pops are so complicated!

Tiberias got such awesome gifts. One was a big, light up, noisy gun from grandparents Boren. One was a dancing fox that sings "What does the fox say?" from Luke. And then Angry Birds race toys, Super action figures and Spiderman stuff.

Since dad was at work for the party we are all going to play at Mcdonald's for dinner tonight and celebrate one more time.

We love having any reason to celebrate life!

Camping, Wedd Anniverary and A Box

 Saturday the 9th of August, the day before our 7th anniversary, we celebrated as a family.

 We took the kids to get Cold Stone ice cream.

 

On Sunday I got dressed up pretty for our actual wedding anniversary

 The day after our Anniversary we celebrated for the third day in a row. Family fun rock wall climbing on base.

 Lachoneus was scared to climb real high but we encouraged him to be brave and go higher. We were impressed he faced his fears and went as high as he did.

Tiberias did not weigh enough to use the harness so we let him climb without it. He did not go higher than we could reach him.
