10th Birthday for Lachoneus

 Yesterday Luke turned 10 years old. And since it was a Saturday we had a party on the actually day of his birth.
We had been home from our vacation for one week. One very busy week. We had to unpack from the trip and catch up on house stuff but we also started the remodel in Athena's bedroom. As well as the party prepping I was doing, with Luke's help, and our first Gospel Doctrine class lesson to prepare as team teachers.

 We had the cooler and the fans going because it was a hot day!!

 

 Pizza and chocolate milk were Luke's dinner choice. And an ice cream cake. The cake was one layer of chocolate ice cream on bottom, one layer of ice cream sandwiches, one more layer of ice cream, a layer of actual cake and another layer of choc ice cream. It was covered in cool whip and drizzled with choc syrup.
This was difficult because our freezer is thin and small! So I can hardly get the cake it and out. So we had a melty cake.

Tiberias' 8th birthday

We had party music, including a lot of the coolest Spiderman songs. We played outside and inside. We ate way too much sugar. And we had a blast!! Plus, Ty got so many cool gifts from his friends. Two packs of web shooters including spiderman gloves, a fossil excavation kit, a geode kit, spiderman flips flops. Lots of spiderman stuff. And money.

 Both Parkers are his best friends. Parker Lethco from church is his #1 best friend. And Parker down the street from us is his best friend on the street. Although, that Parker is younger than Ty and it shows. He isn't very nice to Ty a lot of the time. They don't always get along.
And the Parker that is Ty's true best friend had a little bit of a rough time at the party. Usually Parker Lethco gets a lot of attention and praise from Ty. But at the party he had to share Ty with all of Ty's other friends.

Tiberias with the sunflower we grew! It was a mother's day gift provided by his 1st grade teacher.
