Thursday once we got up to the cabin we all had an even more
relaxing time. Sit around, visit, check on the kids who are all over playing
here and there.

It’s so beautiful up here!
Four wheeling, playing Ster’s video games, watching movies,
sitting on hammock swings on the deck, enjoying the new decks that use to be
falling apart.
Grandpa taught the kids leatherworking. The kids made coin
purses and leather necklace décor. The kids beaded necklaces.
The kids are playing air hockey, pool, foosball and toys.
Thursday night the kids stayed up late playing together.
Grandma brought out glowsticks for them to play with.
Then once the kids went to bed the grownups played some
games and visited.
That night most adults slept outdoors on the decks with
shooting stars and a beautiful clear night sky.
Friday morning the adults slept in. Pancakes, eggs and
sausage breakfast. Denise is great at planning meals for everything.
We took the kids and went to Manti. We walked around the
magnificent temple. Then we stopped a few minutes at the park. It was really
hot outside so did not play long.
Back to the cabin we had sloppy joes and watermelon. Then
quiet time …naps and tv watching.
Tonight Matt and Maria will head home from the cabin. Jon
and his family will be going to Provo. Travis and his family will be joining us
though. And my sister Eliza with her husband are coming for game night.
Saturday
Sterling and I slept on the top deck last night at the cabin.
It was not a clear night sky there were clouds overhead. But we were able to
see some clear starry sky. We were too tired to stay up long anyway. It was not
too hot or too cold. A perfect night outdoors. I loved sleeping on the deck.
This morning Josh and his family left early. We had a
relaxing morning then cleaned the cabin to leave. Ster, Trevor and Simone and
my boys played Star Wars Battlefront and we had lunch before leaving.
We left the cabin cleaner than we found it. And with a few
changes too. There is now a hole in the ceiling of the billiard room. There was
a leak and Ster did what he could for it. Stopped the leak.
There was also a large old tv on the porch when we arrived…waiting
to be trashed. Ster and Matt tore it apart for trashing. They found inside it a
fabulous large mirror which they hung in the upstairs bedroom.
We left the cabin about 1pm. We took half a truck bed load
of trash to the Springville trash drop off.
This evening Chubbz and Eliza are coming to Provo. We are
trying to get everyone to join us for dinner at Panda Express then to Dad and
Mom’s house for ice cream and a movie.
Tomorrow morning we are heading home. It has been an amazing
trip. And we are ready to get back to our home in Rapid City.
