Home made love

Little fun things in life...

I made Athena a Cinderella dress.
 Excited for Easter
...even though Ty does not know what Easter is. He hands out Easter eggs saying "Merry Christmas." This year he will probably remember his Easter experience. And Sunday Ster and I will teach the boys the true reason for this holiday.
We got Athena an exercauser because she likes toys now and has always loved sitting up. We do have to prop her up with a blanket because the toy is made for older/bigger babies.
Ty grew into Luke's old cowboy boots.

My brother's wife, Tereasa, sent us some fabulous gifts for Athena. Homemade headband, skirt, hat and blanket. Here is Athena modeling the new items...with some help from her family.

I made a baptism cake for a family in our ward. A dove (the Holy Ghost) is placed on the back of the cake.

Children's Fair and Pretty In Pink

This month we experienced for the first time the annual children's fair. I can't believe we were not sure if we should go. It was the funnest event of the year! It was huge! And worth way more than the money I spent to take the kids. Sterling stayed home with Athena and I took the boys for a full morning of fun!

Here is Luke ready to attempt climbing a rock wall.

I videotaped his actual ascent. He made it maybe five feet off the ground before finding a fear of heights.

Here are the boys ridding tractor bikes.

We spent the morning with friends. Here are all four boys riding the train together.

Tiberias did not want his face painted but Luke was happy to do it.
The weather started to really warm up. Then we had a crazy snow blizzard.

 Adorable girly pics of Athena

She holds her head up very well!
Athena is 3 months old today and is teething. She drools...soaking her shirt. She cries. And she is happier when she's gnawing on mom or dad's finger. Luke and Ty were both late at getting teeth. Athena might be early with that.

Lachoneus has learned how to read in the last three months! Only small words, easy to read books. But we are very proud of him! He has also learned to do addition and subtraction equations this school year.

Tiberias goes around being adorable and funny as usual. When we go out he gives strangers a good laugh.
