Sterling Goes to Korea

Sterling went to Korea for a week.  He went there to get the training needed to temporarily work in the drug testing office. He wanted to get out of the radar facility since he isn't qualified to do any work there.
We are still waiting to hear what job the air force will give him next and if we are staying here or moving away.

While Ster was in Korea we had an activity day boys night where we went bowling and worked on learning an article of faith. It was a blast.

Also while Ster was gone that week our ward had their annual barbecue. We had that at the church. It was a potluck lunch, visiting and playing games while the prophet's birthday celebration played over the speakers in the church.

The kids wanted new plushies made by their mom.
Ty chose a spiderman in homemade spider suit:

Luke wanted a video game character named Poochy:
One day I took the kids outside to learn/practice baseball. We took time to toss the ball around with gloves as well. They loved it! Ty most of all.

Sterling got home late late on Saturday the 7th of September. So he slept in Sunday morning. I took the kids to church. So, I had a helper take Ster's place in primary that day. We played a game of stepping on paper clouds (on the floor) and naming things we can do to earn our spot in Heaven. Each step took  us closer to the sun. We were learning about the three degrees of glory.
