Hiking, Preschool and More

We use to hike all the time in Italy. We have not done much hiking in the last year. Since being back in America we have gone on a few but it's unusual for us to do so little hiking. This Summer I thought we would do a lot of hiking but we are just now getting back into it. We finally ventured out to find cool trails. We found one the boys love because it is split up by these bridges over water. Three bridges make it easier for the boys to walk so long. They look forward to the balancing and walking over the water.

It is a gorgeous hike! The first day we hiked it we stopped after the third bridged and headed back. But the second time we went we kept hiking. We were excited to find that past the third bridge  there is a steep climb up a hill and at the top a stunning view of Sheridan Lake.

September 7 was National Grandparents day. I took an updated pic of all my kids together for their grandparents.

Tiberias had his first day of school ever. September 2. Tuesdays we go to preschool at a friends' house on the military base. Thursday we do preschool at our own home. There are three boys and one girl in the group right now and it is so fun! Martha and I who take turns teaching it each have a baby girl. So we help each other out both days of preschool. Wild boys and young babies...we have to help each other out. But it works great.

In August there was a fun event on the military base. Like an open house. There were planes, choppers, jets and more on display for military families and friends to come and look at. There was also a lunch and bouncy houses.

In our ward there are quite a few baby girls around the same age. And most babies in the ward are girls right now. Here is one of Athena's friends Emory. Came to play one day at our house. Notice the blue butterfly in Athena's hair...Luke made a hair clip for Athena and is so proud of it.
