The Lethco family in our ward were really impressed with the Mario themed costumes I made for my children last Halloween. Lisa Lethco asked if I would be able to do costumes for her family this year. But when it came down to it she only wanted me to make one. Her family was Pokemon themed. I took on a real challenge...Venusaur.
Here Tiberias is modeling it for us. His best friend at church, Parker, is about the same size as him. And that is who I made the costume for. I did it more as a favor and a fun project for myself as well. I only charge $30 because that is all she could pay me.
I used wires to keep the leaves and flower petals from flopping all around. I made the leaves by painting glue all over green fabric and cutting it out. I made the tree trunk by filling felt with fluff.![](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhst1Q4E0z8YvDdCAT-HD01iXo4GFTZl-EPr9WwjUqZSi0oGeTfFpUMCoGca6pz5Jpq_XfS9KeRZCwmGdd1ozywyUBdMSaV1RYhgnk-4cnyVG1_B_eR17TGO-vSlWtItkZF3uCk81itG70/s640/IMG_7255.jpg)
I made a new Halloween wreath with a Hocus Pocus movie vibe.
