Sundays with No Church Services

On the days that we don't do church with the Kartchners, which is atleast half the time, we have a family day.
We go bike riding together in the morning. This morning we biked to a playground over by the library, played a little while then biked home.
Athena rode on the back of the tandem bike as Ster lead.

Then Luke and I went over to the Airman's Attic to volunteer , as we usually do Sunday mornings. Luke sorted and hung clothes for an hour, looked around the store to find a treasure to keep. He found a Meta Knight keychain...super cool.

Luke walks home after an hour of service and I volunteer another hour or so.

Then in the afternoon I teach a gospel lesson geared toward the kids.
Today Elsie Dick joined us. She was over for a playdate because she is about to move back to America and Athena will miss her.

Tiberias finally received in the mail his world traveling Deku plushy!
Tiberias ordered this toy months ago. He loves Deku because his best friend Brandon introduced him to the character.
He was so excited but ended up waiting about two months, I think. For some reason the packaged was shipped all over the world!

The weather is so gorgeous right now. It gets warm enough during the day for kids to play in water in the yards but not so hot that it's hard for adults to do stuff outside. And in the evenings it cools off a little.
This Spring we have been blessed not to have too many bugs. Mosquitoes were bad last year but so far this year I have not been bothered by any. Ster and I go on evening walks and we don't usually see mosquitoes.
