4th of July

Independence Weekend

 Sterling had a four day weekend. And we were all read for some fun, relaxing family time after such a busy month of June.
We stayed home and watched the fireworks from there. From our house on a hill we could see the firework shows in town and the ones our neighbors were doing. Since we live outside city limits it is legal to do fireworks over here. So it will likely be going all month long.
What amazing fireworks. We kept the kids up late on the 3rd to watch them.

 

There was a lightning storm during the fireworks late that night. I pulled some photos off the internet that were taken at a fireworks show closer to the lightning.

Fourth of July we had friends come play. Julia Elliott, Gunnar, Logan Stone.

We played, had fun in a kiddie pool, water balloon fight, popsicles, finger food lunch, watched Annedroids the tv show.
