Lachoneus' Baptism

Saturday July 23rd was Luke's baptism day. It was an amazing day.
At 11am at the church behind Kelly and Denise Roundy's house we had a double baptism.
Luke and his cousin Spencer who also just turned 8 shared a baptism day.

James and Roslyn Boren attended. Florencio and Eliza attended. Alissa and her two children attended. Then Sterling's family and Spencer's 2nd set of grandparents plus a few more relatives.

I sang If I Listen With My Heart. Eliza gave a short talk on baptism. Spencer's other grandmother gave a talk on the Holy Ghost that was fun and came with a gift bag for each baptism boy. The bag included Star Wars soft blankies.

It was such a special event and a wonderful time. Lachoneus was so excited for it. So happy and he felt joy all day.

 

 After the baptism we went outside to the pavilion. Denise hosted a lunch. The day was beautiful. We enjoyed visiting and eating. Then we said goodbye to my family.
