Showa Park

These days I take pics with my cell phone because it is just the simplest solution. And Sterling brings a good camera on the special adventures like...Showa Park.

Showa Park is really close to the military base. We have to pay to get into the park but it is huge! It's a hike from one playground to another or from one village to another location.

There is a mist playground! It was a hot day! So the mist felt good.
Here is the ancient temple, I call it. At the top you have a great view and there is a sun decoration on the floor there.

The dragon playground was beautiful! And we saw mist coming out of the mouth of one of the dragons at one point.

There was a tunnel in a rock. We walked through it and were happy to find a magical surprise. It was a giant rock garden! So green and beautiful!

 Here is the windmill bridge.
 The old village...

Lilly pads on a pond you can see the workers tending to the pond. The flowers were huge!

One playground has a trampoline net...

 Kids in the mist...

Crows! This area of Japan is full of crows!

We walked through the dragonfly marsh and I personally love dragonflies!
